1. Service Description

Aedifice is an agentic AI platform operated by Retro Energy Group that provides AI-powered agents for building compliance, energy management, and operations — starting with New York City and expanding to additional markets. The platform includes 82 domain-specific agents, access to 130+ public datasets from city agencies, and tools for generating reports, tracking deadlines, and managing building portfolios.

2. Account Responsibilities

By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your buildings. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You represent that you have authorization to access and manage data for any buildings you add to the platform.

4. NYC Public Data

Building data displayed on Aedifice is sourced from publicly available NYC records including DOB, HPD, DEP, DOF, FDNY, and other city agency databases. While we strive for accuracy, public records may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any building data. Users should verify critical information directly with the relevant city agencies.

5. Intellectual Property

The Aedifice platform, including its agents, user interface, algorithms, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Retro Energy Group. You retain ownership of all data you provide to the platform, including building information and uploaded documents. Reports and documents generated by our agents on your behalf are licensed to you for your use. You may not sublicense, resell, or redistribute Aedifice-generated content as a competing service.

6. Prohibited Use

• Using the platform for any illegal activity or to facilitate illegal activity.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the platform or its agents.
• Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk data extraction from the platform.
• Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent building data.
• Interfering with the platform's operation or other users' access.

7. Payment Terms

Free accounts provide limited access to the platform at no cost. Paid subscriptions (Professional, Business, Enterprise) are billed monthly per building through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or at our sole discretion. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page or Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aedifice and Retro Energy Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to the service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account through the Settings page or by contacting us. Upon termination, your data export will be available for 30 days, after which all associated data will be permanently deleted. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts located in New York County, New York.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
